Game of the Year

With 100+ hrs played between the beta and post-release, Overwatch has been a fun and colorful experience in a less than impressive 2016. The team-orientated gameplay of Overwatch is a great evolution to the TF2 formula and expands on it with a diverse cast of playable heroes and map locations that overflow with personality. Most importantly, through character dialogue and maps in-game; through the animated shorts and comics found outside the game; Blizzard has crafted a world I want to learn more about. Created characters I have grown a fondness towards. And that is why Overwatch is my Game of the Year for 2016.
